BOB’S Machine Shop LB-BM-6/8/10

ITEM # LB-BM-6/8/10  L Bracket is built in High Quality Aluminum Alloy, Black Powder Coated and includes stainless steel hardware.   It is designed to fit Bob’s 6″, 8″ and 10″ Jack Plates.  The L. Bracket along with the Transducer Shield will put the transducer at the correct angle when the boat is in the water.

A transducer cannot be attached to any of our L Brackets without a Transducer Shield®.  Please add one of our Transducer Shields® to your shopping cart when ordering your L Bracket.  Click on Shields to pick the appropriate name brand and item to suit your transducer and add to your cart.

NOTE:

(A)  On Skeeter ZX or FX model boats, the hull turning chines interfere with the side viewing signal.  To help correct this problem it is necessary to add an extension between the L. Bracket and Transducer Shield®.

(B)  On Bass Cat Boats, it is necessary to add a 1.5 extension between the L. Bracket and Transducer Shield®

(3)  Typically, a “Side Image” transducer attached to an L Bracket on the side of a Jack Plate will not track the bottom when the boat is up on plane.  To track the bottom when up on plane, an “in hull” transducer is recommended.
