Description
Item # TM-CSi-2 is built in High Quality Aluminum Alloy and Black Powder Coated to withstand harsh environment. It is designed to fit Humminbird® compact side image transducer # XNT 9 SI 180T, XNT 9 HW MSI 150 T or Quad Beam transducer XNT 9 QB 90 T. Please enlarge the images for transducer recognition.
NOTE: When the transducer is attached to a Set Back, Hole Shot Plate or the side of a Jack Plate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
The Transducer Shield’s sleek hydrodynamic design will cut through the water for less drag especially on trolling motors. It reduces collection of debris, keeps the transducer positioned correctly and will not interfere with the transducer signal.
For trolling motor installation, two straps are required which are not included. Optional – HDTS-B heavy duty black powder coated stainless steel straps @ $5.95 each. Choose the length to fit your trolling motor.
With additional accessories this Transducer Shield can easily be installed on a Jack Plate or Transom Set Back.
1. Go to L Brackets to choose the bracket to install the Transducer Shield to the side of a Jack Plate
2. Go to Wedges to choose WG-1 to install the Transducer Shield on the hull Set Back, if your boat has a set back , for example Ranger
3. Go to Wedges to choose WG-1 to install the Transducer Shield on the Hole Shot Plate under the jack plate (not all jack plates have a hole shot or baffle plate)
4. Go to Spring Back Bracket # SBB-5 to install the transducer on the transom if you do not have a Jack Plate or Set Back. Note: a Transducer Shield is not required for the Spring Back Bracket installation
