Description
Item # TM-CMSI-7.1 is built-in High-Quality Alloy and Black Powder Coated. It is designed to fit Humminbird® TM-MCSI-7.1. The Sleek Hydrodynamic Design will cut through the water for less drag, especially on trolling motors. It reduces collection of debris, keeps the transducer positioned correctly and will not interfere with the transducer signal. NOTE: When the transducer is attached to a Set Back, Hole Shot Plate or the side of a Jack Plate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.

For trolling motor installation, two straps are required and are not included with the Transducer Shield. Heavy Duty Stainless Steel, Black Powder Coated straps are available @ $5.95 each.
WARNING: Due to the size of the transducer and Transducer Shield, when installed on a trolling motor, additional components may be required for a better fit on the trolling motor. If your trolling motor has the skeg at the front you will need a Ram Rail Kit @ $150.00 in addition to the Transducer Shield. Please call for assistance.
Item # TM-CMSI-7.1 along with additional accessories can easily be bolted to one of our L Brackets for installation on the side of a Jack Plate OR on a Wedge for installation under a Jack Plate if a hole shot plate is present OR on a Wedge for installation on the Set Back under the boat. For more information please go to L Brackets and/or Wedges.
NOTE: When the transducer is attached to a Set Back, Hole Shot Plate or the side of a Jack Plate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.

I bought two of these, one to mount on the jackplate, the other for the trolling motor. The jackplate fit is perfect. The trolling motor mount makes it too thick, the transducer protrudes past the skeg and is the first to hit in shallow water.
Pros: I bought two of these, one to mount on the jackplate, the other for the trolling motor. The jackplate fit is perfect.
Cons: The trolling motor mount is too thick, the transducer protrudes past the skeg and is the first to hit in shallow water.
