The Stainless-Steel Backing Plate is built in Stainless Steel and includes all stainless hardware.
Using this item will make your life so much easier to have everything assembled on the workbench or holding in a vice and then simply attaching the assembly onto the boat surface.
This item is ideal for aluminum, fiberglass and polyethylene boats. It’s versatile to attach a Spring Back Bracket or Armor Plate to the boat stern (back/transom area). Installation instructions and hardware are included in the package.
Although the plate will add extra reinforcement to any Armor Plate or factory bracket to your stern, its HIGHLY recommended to use with SBB-5 Spring Back Bracket
