In rough water, Lake Champlain, the large nut did come loose, and the transducer rolled down to the trolling motor shaft. If I could find a “bone” bracket to further secure the transducer, this would be a good solution to this issue. Other than that, this bracket is one of the best options for mounting a 360 transducer to a trolling motor.
Pros: Ability to add the shorter Humminbird 360 transducer (the one for the Fortrex model) to an Ultrex.
Cons: Another "bone" bracket to firmly secure the transducer to the trolling motor shaft.
