If the Armor Plate is installed anywhere other than on the transom, for example on the set back wall, some shimming may be required if the transducer angle needs to be adjusted.}

Item # TS-DSS3-TS  is built in High Quality Aluminum Alloy and Black Powder Coated.  It is designed to fit Lowrance®/Simrad® Total Scan transducer # 000-12568-001 (approx. 10” long x  2-1/4” wide x 1-1/4” thick and the cable comes out from the back) or  Lowrance®/Simrad® Structure Scan 3D transducer # 000-12396-001 (approx. 10” long x 2-1/4” wide x 1-1/2”thick).   This Transducer Shield will also fit the  Live Active Imaging 2-in-1 transducer # 000-14490-001 or 3-in-1 transducer # 001-14489-001. Also designed to fit # 003-20401-02 & # 003-27928-02.  NOTE:  this item DOES NOT fit the ActiveImageing HD 3-in-1 Transducer  # 000-16062-001 or ActiveImaging HD 3-in-1 FishReveal Transducer # 000-1060-001.

The Sleek Hydrodynamic Design will cut through the water for less drag, reduces collection of debris, keeps the transducer positioned correctly and will not interfere with the transducer signal.

Item TS-DSS3-TS along with additional components can easily be bolted to (a) the side of a Jack Plate or (b) on the Hole Shot Plate under the Jack Plate or (c) on the boat set back (under the transom).  The Transducer Shield must be attached to an L Bracket or Wedge for (a), (b) or (c) installation.   NOTE:  When the transducer is attached to a Set Back, Hole Shot Plate or the side of a Jack Plate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water.  For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.

Please be aware that when installing a Total Scan, Structure Scan 3D or Live Active Imaging transducers at the back of the boat, the transducer will lose the signal when the boat is up on plane.  To track the bottom when the boat is up on plane, a thru hull transducer will be required.  See your Lowrance® owner manual for additional information.

^{WG-LSS2 Wedge and Transducer Shield® assembly can be installed on a transom set-back or under a jack plate on the hole shot plate, on 10″ and above jack plates only.}

^{WG-LSS2 wedge is not a good candidate for jack plates that are built at a 90 degree angle with the transom.  It is also not a good candidate for jack plates less than 10″ wide.  For such jack plates we recommend installing the LSS2 Structure Scan transducer on the side of the jack plate by adding an L Bracket to the Transducer Shield.  Choose an L Bracket to suit your Jack Plate brand and size.}

AP-HDI-2 will fit Lowrance® Elite Hybrid Dual Imaging Transducer # 000-10976-001 (83/200kHz).  It does not fit the larger 000-10977-001 (50/200kHz) Hybrid Dual Imaging Transducer.  To ensure that you are ordering the correct Armor Plate, please enlarge the images for transducer recognition. When ordering AP-HDI-2 Armor Plate, please provide your transducer number in the comment area to ensure that the correct item is chosen. The Armor Plate includes stainless steel hardware and easy Do-It Yourself instructions.  Your transducer factory bracket will not be required with an Armor Plate.
