Our Armor Plates are designed as an added attachment to our Spring Back Bracket for all around transducer protection.  Please consider ordering a Spring Back Bracket # SBB-5 when purchasing the Armor Plate.  The transducer is 10.50″ long and we highly recommend adding a Spring Back Bracket to your order.   If an Armor Plate breaks that has been attached to the boat without a Spring Back Bracket it has no warranty whatsoever.

L Bracket is built in in High Quality Aluminum Alloy, Black Powder Coated and includes stainless steel hardware   This L Bracket is designed with a 3″ offset specifically for 8″, 10″ or 12″ Atlas Hydraulic Jack Plates.  The 3″ offset brings the Transducer Shield away from the Jack Plate so that the hydraulic trim rod does not interfere with, or damage the transducer or Transducer Shield® when moving up and down.  IMPORTANT & HELPFUL please open the link below to confirm the size of your jack plate

(2)  An Extension is required if you have a Skeeter ZX or FX model boat.  The hull turning chines interfere with the side viewing signal.  To help correct this problem it is necessary to add an extension between the L Bracket and Transducer Shield to lower the transducer.  Click on Extensions to add an extension to your order.

(3)  Typically, a “Side Image” transducer attached to an L Bracket on the Side of a Jack Plate will not track the bottom when the boat is up on plane.  To track the bottom when up on plane an “in hull” transducer is recommended.

For Trolling Motor installation, two straps are required which are not included.  Optional:  HDTS-B heavy duty black powder coated stainless steel straps @ $5.95 each and available in three sizes to suit your particular trolling motor.

This Transducer Shield is also designed to easily attach to one of our L Brackets or Wedges for Jack Plate, Hole Shot Plate or Set Back installation.

When purchasing this item to attach to your jack plate, please go to:

For trolling motor installation, two straps are required and are not included with the Transducer Shield.  Heavy Duty Stainless Steel, Black Powder Coated straps are available @ $5.95 each.

NOTE: The Transducer Shield is 6-7/8” long.   For MinnKota 70lb thrust and below (with prop and skeg on opposite ends) or Motorguide 12v 54 lb thrust and below, additional custom components may be required.  If you are unsure about the fit on your trolling motor, please call to place your order 334-514-7147.

NOTE:  When the transducer is attached to a Set Back, Hole Shot Plate or the side of a Jack Plate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water.  For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
