Item # EXT-2.0 is built-in High-Quality Aluminum Alloy and black powder coated. It is pre-drilled to match the hole pattern on our L Brackets and Transducer Shields® for easy install.

An extension is necessary on most Skeeter ZX model boats to lower the level of the transducer, so that the transducer side signal clears the hull sponsons and/or turning chines.

An extension is also required on some jack plates that were installed on Bass Cat boats. Reason: the jack plate is longer and installed with 6 bolts to the transom rather than 4 bolts.

When placing an order for an extension, please remember to order a Transducer Shield® and L. Bracket to suit your transducer and jack plate.

ITEM # LB-BM-6/8/10/12 is the standard L Bracket and is suited to fit on the right or STARBOARD side of the jack plate. New adjustable angle version!

L Bracket is built in High Quality Aluminum Alloy, Black Powder Coated and includes stainless steel hardware. It is designed to fit Bob’s 6″, 8″ and 10″ Jack Plates. The L. Bracket along with the Transducer Shield will put the transducer at the correct angle when the boat is in the water.

A transducer cannot be attached to any of our L Brackets without a Transducer Shield®. Please add one of our Transducer Shields® to your shopping cart when ordering your L Bracket. Click on Shields to pick the appropriate name brand and item to suit your transducer and add to your cart.

NOTE:

(A) On Skeeter ZX or FX model boats, the hull turning chines interfere with the side viewing signal. To help correct this problem it is necessary to add an extension between the L. Bracket and Transducer Shield®.

(B) On Bass Cat Boats, it is necessary to add a 1.5 extension between the L. Bracket and Transducer Shield®

Click on Extensions to add an extension to your order. if (A) or (B) pertains to your application. Contact us if you have questions.

(3) Typically, a “Side Image” transducer attached to an L Bracket on the side of a Jack Plate will not track the bottom when the boat is up on plane. To track the bottom when up on plane, an “in hull” transducer is recommended.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you complete the questionnaire in full when ordering this item.
